Relieving Stress for Asians

Stressed out? Here’s some ways you can avoid being too tired and grumpy!

Path 1: Relieving Stress

Just kidding! But the thing is, if you’re too stressed out, you may need some time to just do… nothing! Studying and working out is good, of course, but rest is even better. Here are some real tips to help you succeed:

  1. Read a book. Not a textbook. Try an anime or a mystery book. Or even a science fiction book. Something that will help you not think about work for a while.
  2. Eat. This is what makes people fat, but if you’re working your butt off so hard that you’re starving, stop and go eat.
  3. Play with your friends. Most likely, you’re going to feel a lot better, even if you wasted some time.
  4. Sing a song. If you’re really tired, trying singing to What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. You can listen to the music in the Wavegate to on the right. Don’t know the lyrics? What a Wonderful World Lyrics. If you don’t want something as serious, try Banana Phone! You can also find it in the Wavegate.
  5. Go outside, take a walk, and breath in some fresh air. If you’ve been working on the computer too long, or have cramped up your hands writing, sometimes it’s good to even just stand outside and breath deeply.
  6. Sleep. If you’re tired, sleep. It’s not that hard.
  7. Laugh. This could mean watching something funny on TV, or playing with your children or friends, or reading a funny book, or just laughing at your stress to scare it away. Trust me, laughing is truly a miracle medicine.
